They way this piece is written, it makes the GOP look like they are doing something insidious.
When, in fact, they are just overseeing a just election.
Voters who are properly registered and are legitimate will not be disenfranchised by this measure. This should be encouraged by the NYT as a positive, civic-minded step.
When I saw it was from NY Times, I didn't bother reading it.

I agree. I'm just glad to see that the GOP isn't laying down and letting the rats walk all over them. I just hope we don't have to worry about voter fraud.
