Howlin you are wrong on this... I dont know why you are defending this piece of crap thing tonight....its certainly not like you to do so.....it was a KERRY LOVE FEST except for the two minutes on the POWS
Are you asking me why I'm upset? I'm not really all that upset(anymore). I thought is would be about Kerry and the POWs. Pres. Bush has nothing to do with it, it's not about him. But it is what it is and it could have been worse.
Now the thing that has me angry, is when the spoke of Bush's TANG record. They made a point of saying that some of them are missing. But neglected to mention that Kerry hasn't released any of his.

We passed out 75 flyers with the wrong time on it - we said it was going to be on here in Des Moines at 8:00 PM, it was actually at 7:00 PM. The station told me twice that it was on at 8.
We were wrong and nobody watched it.
(And I am glad).
This reminds me of the definition of a diplomat ... I think Sinclair has fulfilled this role ...

I don't think he's defending it. He just thinks we should have known better. I guess I did, was too hopeful that finally, finally, some real questions would have been put out that kerry would have had to answer to.
I don't get it.
Could it have been more???? Of course.
However, my point is that Sinclair does not deserve the skewering they are receiving here.
I was in news, and I remember just how much hatred and nastiness I had to put up with about a very contentious isue I was covering in Delaware. I tried to be as fair and balanced as I could be......one side of the issue was thanking me just because I actually allowed them to have their say......the other side tried to get me fired from my job because of my bias on behalf of the other side.
amen....I am just beyond caring now...all those "EMAIL SINCLAIR AND THANK THEM" crap I did hahahahaha sheesh we always except the best and always get the worst...
Anyway, FR should expect new joinees since they (we) have gotten a lot of publicity lately, and this is a good haven for conservatives.
I think people here are just on edge, and rightfully so. There are a lot of hackers, disrupters,etc. out there in Libland, and they are not good people.

I just got through watching it online and thought it was great. I'm a Viet Nam Vet so my point of view is colored by my experience. I don't know if enough of those Americans who are younger than myself, or those who have never served in the military, can fully understand what is being discussed in Stolen Honor when they view it.
One thing is for certain, whether or not later generations ever come to understand what John Kerry did to the reputations of those who served with honor is not really the issue. The issue is whether John Kerry himself fully understands that there is nothing he can do, nothing, that will wipe the slate clean for a man who would put political ambition above the reputation of his Country's military forces.
Clinton, the draft dodger and loather of the military, was bad enough. I will go to my grave still wondering how this country could elect such a person to the highest office in the land, not once, but twice.
John Kerry has done something even more despicable. He has sacrificed all the things that honorable men hold dear, and he has done it for something as cheap as personal political gain. I don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror in the mornings, knowing what so many people truely think of him.
Had Kerry accepted their "equal time" offer, I'm sure those questions WOULD have been asked ... which is why Kerry didn't except it. At last count, Kerry, who pledged monthly "news conferences" as President has taken only 3 reports questions over the last 2 months ...
Normally I wouldn't make mention of new dates, but there is a concentration common opinion AND new dates on this thread that is VERY unusual.
