Oh, yeah. I glanced at that when it was posted. It appeared insipid, so I moved on after a paragraph or so.
Yeah, the immigration situation needs to be improved, but electing Kerry sure isn't the way to get it done. President Bush's plan for these temporary permits doesn't seem all that bad to me. At some point, we will have to deport some people, though.
And, IMO, this issue can wait a couple of weeks. Getting President Bush reelected is the first order of business, for a whole bunch of reasons.
He has a point..the more of Bush's silly "compassionate conservatism"we get, the more the GOP moves left and hinders conservative principles...
