Information like this will never make the papers, but I thought it is a story that should be told about the man we have as president.

I think urban legend, saw it about a year ago.
I got this in an email a while back. I think it's an urban legend.

agree. It's not new.
ooops thanks....will be more careful next time.
The story is true and was posted here about six months ago.
See:

And FWIW, the descriptions of the service are correct for an Episcopal church.
This is a job for MythBusters...
I htink we have to be careful not to get to maudlin here about our Bush, we don't need it and it sometimes can be a cheap trick..or viewed as such...
No argument here.

Well, I take it back. The email may be old, but is not urban legend according to the above site.
Yep. I got it too, via email. Evidently this has been bouncing around the internet for some time.
People always forget to add the part about how George Carlin and Ted Nugent were sitting in an adjoining pew.

You're right, in that he's not Catholic; but other denominations have communion services, of various stripes (the President is Methodist). From what I've seen in the past, this story is relatively accurate.
Seems to be true, despite it circulating around the internet so I stand corrected. Thanks.
