In other news, John Kerry's campaign planned a new ad to 'reach-out' to voters to let them know Dick Cheney's daughter is a lesbian.

"We're not attacking anyone, saying Kerry is a bum or whatever. We're just saying this is what happened to us, and I don't think that's terribly political," he said.Yet, we still need to see the "Kerry-is-a-bum" GOP spot.

I saw it yesterday and that ad does an excellent job of delineating that specific thing Bush has and Kerry does not.

I saw the ad, it blew me away ... it's a real tearjerker and genuine, and it works because Ashley just spoke her mind:
"Most people haven't had the opportunity to stand 18 inches from George Bush and speak to him and form an opinion, and we did," Lynn Faulkner said. "What we're trying to do is tell anyone who is interested what our feelings were. That's what our TV commercial does."
- It's a 'soft ad' but I think it will work tremendously for a simple reason - the Left is running a "Bush=evil"
campaign. This ad reminds us that Bush's heart is solid gold. You can criticize him on issues or on judgement, but dont for a second think he's doing anything other than do his best.

Oh. I was wondering how the pro-Bush people would use the video of Senator Daschle hugging him....

The downside to being in a red state is you don't see commercials such as this one. The upside is that you don't have to endure Kerry-Edwards and Moveon.org ads.
