Watching it made me so proud of the life I have had, and values instilled in me from humble beginnings.

I've had that feeling lately.
And I'm not even half done yet.

I've had that feeling lately. And I'm not even half done yet.

I agree. I am only 24 (25 next month) and I feel like the values I was taught as a child no longer exist. I would kind of expect that if I were older, but when I can't relate to people that are less than 10 years younger than me, something must have gone wrong somewhere.

I often find myself daydreaming of the days when community meant pulling together to help someone out. Or having a town picnic on the square to celebrate summer. I've never lived that way, but I think I was born in the wrong era because I long for those things!
