Just when I thought I had seen nigh the bottom of the barrel.

It's like they don't even _try_ any more, they just take the local Democratic Party's talking points for the week, and embellish them.

I wonder if cribbing off of the class ideologue's paper was how most journalists made it through college. It would explain a lot...

As I have said before, as a native of Kentucky (born and raised) and a resident of Lexington (a Lexingtonian)... there are two papers you NEVER pay attention to: the Loserville Courier and the Lexington Herald Liberal.

or also known as the Louisville Urinal...both are good for bird cage lining and paint catchers and that's about it.

Regardless, are the newspapers correct in inquiring about Bunning's mental and physical health? The man IS 73. There have been a few other posts on FR showing how the Rat is now tied in the election thanks to Bunning's odd behavior. If true, he should have stepped down and let a gop candidate born AFTER WWII run.

I agree!! - I live in southern IN - (greater Louisville area), but receive all the Louisville media (TV, newspapers, etc.) - The Courier-Journal is something I definitely do NOT pay any attention to at all!! It's a far cry from the Cincinnati Enquirer - which I was used to for years and years, since I was born and raised in the Cincy area.

By the way - my oldest son is a senior at Transylvania University - right there in Lexington, KY.

NO. Jim Bunning is 100% sane. I have seen him speak recently and have spoken to staffers to work with Senator Bunning daily.

The poll that shows this race close was a Democractic push poll. The first question was a question stating that Senator Bunning was suffering from a mental problem. They then asked if you would vote for a candidate with a mental problem. Then asked whether about this race.

This is simply a disgusting and desparate attempt by the democrats to gain control of the Senate. That these stories are being repeated by so many newspapers is scandal of Rathergate proportions.

Having been born and raised in Northern Ky. and now a resident of Frankfort,Ky. I have had a chance to see the difference between the Urinal and the Geraldo Leader versus the Kentucky Post, which is a No.Ky. paper. They know Bunning better than anyone and if you read their opinions on him you are probably getting the straight of it. Bunning is an arrogant cuss and always has been but I don't think he is 'losing it' yet.

Senator Bunning is a Hall of Fame athlete. He has always been very competitive.

I share his view on the integrity of the post-Clinton Democratic party.

I have met and spoken with Sen.Bunning and believe me, he is a pompous jerk but he gets the job done. I sometimes think he should have stayed in baseball.
