Dear President Crow and Director Sideman:
I was appalled to read about the 200 posters Arizona State University professor John Jota Leanos created and displayed on buildings in downtown Phoenix recently in order to promote his radical anti-war agenda: http://www.kvoa.com/global/story.asp?s=2408061&ClientType=Print.
His poster contained the likeness of Pat Tillman, who was killed serving our country in Afghanistan, and was emblazoned with the text, ''Flawed perceptions of myself, my country and the War on Terror resulted in the disastrous end to my life.''
Leanos' claim that this poster was a ''tribute'' to Tillman is the height of hypocrisy, and an egregious example of the worst kind of political dirty tricks. I cringe when I think that Leanos is a teacher in any setting, let alone an institution of ''higher learning.''
Professor Leanos is a kindred spirit to Michael Moore, who also stooped to debasing and misrepresenting the heroic sacrifices of our fighting soldiers, who are either dead or wounded, in order to perpetrate a radical antiwar agenda. Moore used the death of U.S. Air Force Maj. Gregory Stone to perpetrate his lies; Leanos did the same with Pat Tillman. Major Stone's mother called Moore a ''maggot that eats off the dead.'' Leanos is likewise engorging himself. Does he find the meal tasty?

I have several personal friends who played with Pat Tillman and I happen to know how to get in touch with Jake Plummer and others who loved Pat. I will be forwarding emails on this topic to them along with the home and work address of this professor.
I believe that it is time to these people that although the government should never censor free speech, that does not mean that free speech is not without consequences. A good @$$ beating might tell this person that their words have consequences.
In the old glory days of this country, this type of crap would be grounds for a dual and a bullet through the skull. I'll be civilized and settle for a few enormous men scaring the hell out of one pathetic human being.

I actually go to Asu and have seen this sign. I told Leanos when I saw him to go blow himself up with his friend Micheal Moore if he loves the terrorists so much.
Let him claim that. That way when Army Rangers kick the stuffing out of him, they can call it an attitude adjustment.
I'd like to see this mealy-mouthed maggot of a Leftist (Leanos) try to explain why Tillman volunteered for the War on Terror, then. Tillman joined the armed services and went into special forces of his own free will out of love for this country following 9/11. Sadly, he was killed in Afghanistan. (And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this jackwit Leanos insists that Tillman was killed in Iraq.)

This Morning a Army wife called into the Laura Ingram show, and told us that democrat campaign workers were calling the army base wives and saying "your husband is dead" then after a pause, they would say "this is the call you will get if Bush is re-elected for another 4 years".

As for this "professor", (who is probably nothing more than a professional student, a know nothing, do nothing bum)I guess he thinks it's ok if someone puts words in your mouth. Hopefully someone will put some words in his mouth, and stomp them in with a good heal of a size 12 boot.
As much as I despise what the prof. has done, I see no reason to advocate Brown Shirt tactics in response. He does more damage to his position by being free to express it than you or anyone else could do by hurting him (as satisfying as that may be).
