Ralliers!
You've probably heard of Sinclair Broadcasting Group's intention to broadcast "Stolen Honor," a visual version of what we've been trying to do about Kerry's 1971 lies, on their television stations.
Naturally, the Kerry crowd is not happy. They are even initiating lawsuits to stop the showing of "Stolen Honor." A number of advertisers, including, believe it or not, Burger King Corp., have pulled their advertising from Sinclair's network of stations. I personally confirmed that they had done that by calling their office in Miami. I then informed them that I was pulling my business from BK.
I'm asking you to do two things: (1) call BK yourself to inform them that they've lost your business; and (2) watch "Stolen Honor" when it airs this weekend.
The BK number is 305-378-3535. A very nice lady answers the phone, so don't be ugly with her. In fact, be NICE! Just inform her that you strongly disapprove of their action and that you will no longer buy BK products.
Next, I have been persuaded that we should go all-out to place as many billboards on the highways of the battleground states as possible. These things are not cheap, but at this late date you can get some bargains. We just bought seven boards in Pennsylvania, and I'm negotiating for five giant ones in New Jersey.
I had the money ($6000) to buy the boards in PA, but I'm going to have to raise the $20,000 to buy the mega-boards in NJ. HELP! I am NOT playing games here. Every nickel you send will go toward those boards, so PLEASE send whatever you can as soon as you can.
We now have almost one hundred boards up in Jacksonville, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, Florida. To see what they look like, go to www.operationhomecoming.com and click on the appropriate link. These signs say, "DEFEATING JOHN KERRY WOULD BE THE HOMECOMING VIETNAM VETERANS NEVER HAD." They are white letters on a black background, and they are real eye-catchers.
If at all possible, send your contribution via the PayPal link on www.kerrylied.com. If not, please send your check to VVT; Box 49; Mt. Vernon, VA 22121. I need your help ASAP if I'm to pay for the NJ boards.
Only ten more days until it's over! Let's go out in a blaze of glory; as John O'Neill (of Swiftvets) said recently, "We just CAN'T let Kerry win." Don't put yourself in the poorhouse, but give all you can.
Once again, I want to re-emphasize the fact that NONE OF US at VVT have taken or will take a single penny of your money. EVERYTHING goes into the program, so you're getting a bargain!
HELP!

I've been boycotting their nasty "food" already. Bottom of the barrel of fast food.
Tell them you have gone on Atkins.
Mommy holds out her purse for poodle boy
And poodle boy jumps with glee! Weee mommy! I want money!
There was a large block of us yesterday that called BK and flooded their lines for quite a while.
I received an e-mail reply from Long John Silvers today about this same thing. They stated they are not going to run their ad for this "controversial" documentary, because they are "interested in quality television advertising and we encourage advertising on programs that reflect the positive image of our products."
I'da written back and said "yeah and the horse you rode in on too"........they all just dont get this is for the VETERANS , not for Bush, why they are against it is beyond me.....
It was supposed to show here tonight and didn't! I am so angry!
Uh....what Sinclair stations air in NJ?
I agree and I wrote them back with that message....they've lost my business and I will be buying Sinclair stocks

Donations/Charitable Contributions
Burger King Corporation receives many more requests for charitable contributions, sponsorships, and scholarships than we are able to support. Therefore, we have elected to focus our participation by supporting Burger King/McLamore Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving youth throughout North America; the Welfare To Work Partnership; The United Way and Burger King Academies for at-risk youth through our affiliation with Communities In Schools. Additionally, Burger King Corporation is proud to support targeted diversity efforts for organizations such as One Hundred Black Men of America, NAACP, Urban League, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Organization of Chinese American and others too numerous to mention.
We regret to inform you that we are unable to support any additional requests since our charitable budget has been fully allocated. We wish you every success with your future endeavors.
Not accepting email? These guys aren't on the Cluetrain (www.cluetrain.com). They also appear to be leftists. I'd stop eating there, but I never eat there anyway. I don't like cold hamburgers that are tossed in the microwave.
It is truly the worst fast food joint out there. Sick food.
No way I can give up my LJS, but I will have to write them a mad e-mail.
It is airing tomorrow I think.
