Kyle Orton may have made a mistake when he started talking about politics with the media. The result of that was the senior quarterback having to field questions about politics nearly every week at the teams press conference.

Thank Heavens I am not a Purdue fan. I would hate my team's star player to be such a lib.
Interesting post!
Kid's family is friends with Harkin, lots of union thuggery in his family, but he's a good quarterback.
Now I am even more happpy that my Wisconsin Badgers beat Purdue last week. Orton fumbled in the fourth quarter. Go Bucky! All the way to the National Championship.
lets not interfere with foreign policy if we just ignore the people planning to destroy us they tire themselves out and go away! </sarcasm>
No, Purdue beat Purdue last week.
Signed, a depressed Boiler fan.
He ought to worry about politics less and holding onto the football and not choking in the big game more. Someday there might be a Heisman lib running for office, but after last week, I'm pretty certain it won't be Orton.
100% agreed, Daus. And I'm a Boiler fan (see tagline).
The media is searching for their answer to Tom Brady.
Hawkeyes, Hawkeyes, Hawkeyes...
Patience, patience... we'll thump y'all in a few weeks... no need to hasten the humiliation...
But Brady plays on Sunday.
Death to the Hawkeye World Order!
Floyd of Rosedale is coming back home (where it belongs) in Minnesota!
If he'd spend more time on holding on to the football instead of politics they might have beat Wisconsin. I am surprised he has managed to be a democrat at Purdue. There aren't many and most of them start growing up and realizing what an immature view if the world liberals have. I sure did.
Regards,
Boiler Plate
You beat me to it! And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
LOL!
Michigan and Michigan State were an ugly experience...especially when we were favored to beat the Spartans.
The media up here has been really down on Coach Glen Mason since last saturday.
