It isn't breaking news unless it is confirmed.

I imagine most of the train tracks just go by Tobacco warehouses and the like. There are some bank buildings down town and a few government buildings. But nothing that really strikes me as any great target. ??? But I'm not a WS resident.

Let's see: Your friend is a cop in Orlando, and he somehow has information on some incident in another state? I think I'll wait for some sort of confirmation before jumping on this story.

my guess - it was a suitcase they THOUGHT might be a bomb so they removed it. Happens several times per month in the NYC subway and commuter rail lines - suitcases and packages that are left someplace, are feared to be bombs, and are removed. but they aren't bombs.

I grew up in Winston Salem. Still live in North Carolina.
Any confirming news yet?

Its 4:00PM and I'm listening to AM 640 in Fayetteville. Nothing on about it and they didn't break in before the top of the hour.
We get a bunch of "scares" around here. Mostly training aids, pyrotecnics or trash. I know I know, people say its the young GIs.

He is a police officer out of Orlando himself and said in confidence that it was found in a suitcase.
So now it's posted on the web????

He told me earlier...just spoke to him now and asked if anything was on the net about it or not..which made me put the thread up and question the story for the locals on FR about it.
