This looks like an alternate-universe version of "Revenge of the Sith". The Sith, for those who aren't Star Wars Geeks, are evil former Jedi of which there are always two -- master and apprentice. Here we all thought Bubba was the master, but he was only the Phantom Menace. He killed George HW Bush's career, but the Son has ended his influence. Now, Darth Pantsuitious, who wants to become Chancellor Palparodham, is engineering the Kerry Wars, which are weakening the Republic. The apprentice of Dubya, John McSkywalker, will I fear become Darth CFRaider and wipe out the Jedi. We will all then have a new Mistress -- Darth Pantsuitious, Emporer of the Planet.
I suspect you're right. Dowd was on Imus dissing Kerry and saying she had been talking to several friends who have already moved on to 2008.
She's RABID against Bush - and her statement is in stark contrast to her regular statements.
Now this from the NYT about STOLEN HONOR - of all things - when these people would not even talk about the Swift Boat Veterans ..??
