I understand. I understand that people like you hate the Yanks and you're happy they lost. So be it. LOL But the Yanks will be back next season. When you've been in the post season as much as the Yankees have been --- 26 WS Championships & 39 AL Pennants --- there's a good chance that you'll be involved in some losses. Even some historic losses. This time the Yanks came out on the short end. But when you're one of the best organizations around, you take your lumps and come back better and stronger.

I do not hate the Yankees. Sometimes I even root for them. However, when your team has just lost, particularly in embarrassing fashion, you do not point to all the titles your team has won over the years. We're talking about this year. I did not point to the 14 titles the Lakers have won when they got whipped by the Pistons this year. And that final series should have been on the all time upset list last night, IMHO. It's a losers response to talk about the past. I notice Notre Dame fans seem to do it a lot these days.

Anyway, the Yankees just committed the biggest collapse in baseball history, that cannot be disputed. The biggest choke, that's debatable, but definitely right up there.
