There is another risk in Socialized medicine, and it was
mentioned in the article posted. Colorado will have to "prioritize" the distribution of the vaccine. Think what that would mean if all health care were to be socialized. Certain well-connected people would find themselves at the top of the list for all health care, and the rest of us would not get the care we need.

Already happened. I believe it was yesterday that Congressmen and Senators were recommended to get flu shots "because they are around so many people". I quote the Washington Post, "Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., a heart surgeon, sent letters urging his 99 colleagues to get the shots because they mingle and shake hands with so many people, said his spokeswoman Amy Call." Gosh, like others aren't, and they're "more special" than the rest ?

Preferential treatment for "the elite" is here already. Rationing for the rest of us.
