Starting to make sense...........This guy who the Pakis call Abdul Rehman is probably not the one on the CIA most wanted list.........A guy named Abdul Rehman was captured in Dec. 2001 per this Christian Science Monitor Article..........http://www.csmonitor.com/2001/1210/p1s4-wosc.html.........................................................And an Egpytian named ABDUL REHMAN was captured in 2003 during the raids that took down 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed......see this post from fox march 2003.... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0%2C2933%2C80044%2C00.html ......A top police official in Quetta said the arrested suspect changed his story many times during questioning, but finally identified himself as Abdul Rehman, from Egypt. The official said police were aware that another suspect got away, but were not told of his significance. The police later handed Rehman over to Pakistan's intelligence agency, known as ISI............. My question about all this is: How many Abdul Rehmans from Egypt are running around Pakistan? By my count there must be at least three..........the one caught this week, the one caught during the Khalid Sheik Mohammed operation in march 2003, and the one caught in Dec. 2001. This seems to defy logic, unless it is the same guy and we keep letting him go in hopes he will lead us to bigger fish.........Very confusing post, but this is a very confusing story........

"We got some information about two foreigners who were in the neighborhood. When we went there we found only one," the official said. "Rehman admitted there was someone else with him, but he never said anything about Khalid Shaikh Mohammed."

You missed one Abdul Rehman that I found yesterday in a search...from a Sep 27 story:

Ahmed said "two or three other people were also arrested during a big gunfight." He declined to identify them but said they were being questioned by authorities and were "very important." "This is the work of our security agencies, and they have done a great job," Ahmed said. An intelligence official in Karachi identified the arrested men as Abdul Rehman and Yaqoob Farooqi.

Cleveland Plain Dealer

You are right...something isn't right about this.

Rumor is that OBL is on Chinese/Paki border, Omar is being pilloried because he didn't disrupt Afghanistan's election, 1000 paki troops engaged yesterday in a fight, Shia tracking down Sunni al-Qaeda in Paki according to Indian sources ... Looks like al-Qaeda is being pushed out of Pakistan. I wonder where they are going to? Sudan?
