Anyone catch the following line?
Many local Democrats expressed sympathy with the desire of British voters to have a say.
See anything wrong with it?

Yes, I see plenty wrong with that line. In other words Dems would love to see foreigners, i.e. the U.N. have a bigger say in our candidates and our elections. Sort of a global government. Why do Dems hate this country so that they would give away our sovereignty?

Wrong, yes --- but it makes sense.
The left has gone insane.

See anything wrong with it? No. Sympathy with a desire is not the same thing as endorsing the action. That said, I'd bet the local Dems have sympathy with more than just the desire, and I myself have absolutely no sympathy with the desire. I would never presume to tell someone in another country how to vote, it's none of my bloody business.

Yes. It's none of the Brits' business.
Apparently Democrats circa 2004 = Tories circa 1774
