WTF is going on? Shall we try to influence elections in Great Britain? Imagine if Human Events started a campaign to write to Brits who might be wobbly on re-electing Tony Blair. It would be widely reported in the MSM as a perfect example of arrogant ugly-Americanism, and portrayed as what conservatism is all about: Bullying.
The idea of interfering in another nation's elections like this would never occur to me. It's none of my bloody business.

See anything wrong with it? No. Sympathy with a desire is not the same thing as endorsing the action. That said, I'd bet the local Dems have sympathy with more than just the desire, and I myself have absolutely no sympathy with the desire. I would never presume to tell someone in another country how to vote, it's none of my bloody business.

Are you from the part of Europe whose arsed we saved or whose arse we kicked? Beauty! Or...
Do you speak German? If they say "No" you say, "You're welcome." If they say "yes" you ask, "Does everyone in your country speak German?" It works with Russian as well.

Frankly, I'm surprised the ACLU hasn't had Mr. Brown executed. We shall see...have you seen the "Get Out of Gulag Free" cards they offer on the Commies for Kerry website? They have a note on them that says you should present them to the arresting ACLU officer on the day of revolution.

You'll never succeed, of course, but there's more dignity in that than in whining to Americans trying to get them to undermine their own country. If the British people could reject socialism, they could once again be a great power. Not as great as they once were with cheap colonial resources, but they would be such an economic power they could smack the rest of Europe around.

You make a strong point. Sadly, even the entrepreneurial Britons I know are sympathetic to socialism.

Do you suppose there's a mole on the staff? No. A belief in socialism requires a complete misunderstanding of human nature, so it's no surprise they would misunderstand the nature of the segment of humanity living in the Upper Midwest.

He just enlisted. So he won't even be going through basic until next June during his summer college break. I'll pass your congratulations on to him. His screen name here is Jemians Terror. Being in the US Army is a lifelong dream of his.

Many local Democrats expressed sympathy with the desire of British voters to have a say. See anything wrong with it?
Yes. It's none of the Brits' business.
Apparently Democrats circa 2004 = Tories circa 1774
