I'm sure many here would be disappointed in my soft stance. But I unapologetically oppose partial-birth abortion, and I think this is just one more case where the hard-line positions of the Democrats in favor of their interest groups can be and should be exploited politically.

I first met Norma McCorvey (Roe of Roe vs Wade) shortly before her conversion. I was in touch with her until 1999 after that. A few weeks ago, I met her at a major event, and she still remembered me.

She originally, at the time of her conversion, was still in favor of abortion in the first trimester.

She has since changed her stance.

There are many, many, many conversion stories of STAUNCH pro-abortion people (people who worked for NARAL, who worked in abortion mills, etc).

Most of the people going the other way are people like Al Gore -- who saw he had no political future if he was pro-life. In other words, POWER was the why of going the other way, from what I have seen.

I wish you well, and even if you are only against PBA, that is alright with me.

God has proven His existence with me. I really do not have any choice, I would be denying God if I was in any way for abortion.
