A couple of points I was hoping to see here....

- 40+% of Democrats are pro-life
- The case can be made that abortion is a net loss issue for Democrats among undecided. Women are just not as pro-choice in general as the MSM would like you to believe.
- If not for aborted children of families that tend to vote Democratic, Gore would have won. This 'aborted' electorate is only hurting the left more and more as generations continue.

-- Joe

P.S. I sincerely pray the Democrats drop this pro-choice plank sometime, and give people like myself more of a choice when I vote. I cannot vote for a pro-choice candidate. I suspect that the pro-choice plank helps to radicalize the Democrats more to the left than they might otherwise be.

I'm sure many here would be disappointed in my soft stance. But I unapologetically oppose partial-birth abortion, and I think this is just one more case where the hard-line positions of the Democrats in favor of their interest groups can be and should be exploited politically.

I first met Norma McCorvey (Roe of Roe vs Wade) shortly before her conversion. I was in touch with her until 1999 after that. A few weeks ago, I met her at a major event, and she still remembered me.

She originally, at the time of her conversion, was still in favor of abortion in the first trimester.

She has since changed her stance.

There are many, many, many conversion stories of STAUNCH pro-abortion people (people who worked for NARAL, who worked in abortion mills, etc).

Most of the people going the other way are people like Al Gore -- who saw he had no political future if he was pro-life. In other words, POWER was the why of going the other way, from what I have seen.

I wish you well, and even if you are only against PBA, that is alright with me.

God has proven His existence with me. I really do not have any choice, I would be denying God if I was in any way for abortion.

One more thing, 40 million more Americans would be involved in paying into Social Security.

Social Security is in trouble, because there so few young people to support the aging population.

"One more thing, 40 million more Americans would be involved in paying into Social Security."

I often wonder how bad the dems have cut their own throat over this issue...The vast majority of those 40 million killed would have otherwise been raised in a household that obviously condones abortion, and if we are to believe the "quality of life" argument (not that I do), would have generally been from the poorer economic strata. That said, the vast majority of that 40 million would have probably voted democrat....

What to make of ol' Feckless's articles???? If he believes a human's lifetime begins at conception yet votes to protect the serial killing of such vulnerable human beings, what is his 'faith', article or no, actually worth? AND TO WHOM?... There is one who relishes child killings ... whom do such 'politicians' as Kerry, Edwards, Kennedy, Boxer, Harkin, et al actually serve? It is obvious to this old fella! Kerry's article of faith is a demon's joy ...

Joe, look carefully ... the leadership of the current democrap party IS radically secular humanist and at the extreme of middle America. The only hope for that putrifacting party is a landslide victory for the GOP this election cycle, for President, in the House, and in the Senate. THEN democrats would possibly take notice of the dying party of radical, anti-America, anti-Life ideals.

"If pro-life voters remain strongly behind Bush, the Abortion Gap could make all the difference on Nov. 2."

Unfortunately, the pro-life movement has a significant number of sanctimonious deacons who will not vote for GW because he is "not Pro-life enough." They are the same ones who sat out 2000 because they thought they were too good to vote for a mere mortal like GW.

Hopefully they will have learned their lesson, and some Christian humility, along the way of the last four years.

The President has held that those who aid and abet terrorists are to be considered as the terrorists themselves.

I say those who enable abortionists by withholding their vote for a prolife President are to be considered as the abortionists themselves.
