For the most part, I support President Bush’s handling of the war on terror and his domestic policy, but that’s not the main reasons why I am voting for him.
My vote for President Bush is as much a vote in opposition to Sen. John Kerry. Specifically, it is the behavior of Kerry after he returned from four months in Vietnam that makes me angry.
Two days before President Bush’s visit, I shared a "Bloomin’ Onion" at the Outback restaurant in west Lantana, Fla. with a neighbor, a retired police chief.
Jim Corr, now a resident of Palm Beach County, once arrested and handcuffed Kerry, jailed him overnight, and then threatened to put him back in the lockup for a second night.

W lost 4 points - enough to keep the results OUT of the hands of the Supremes - by playing it clean in 00 after his DUI surfaced 4 days prior to the election.
Nobody here advocates filth; but winners know to play on the ground, and level it offensively and defensively at the end of October.
I agree, however, since kerry is the media darling this would never get the type of attention that the DUI received. The MSM does not want to hear it.

Someone questioned whether there were plastic handcuffs in 1971, but possibly in MA. This guy's story does need to be checked out, but it needs to be passed on to Hannity etc.
By plastic handcuffs, they could simply mean "zip-ties." They essentially do the same job.

That is my point. Did Police even know about zip-ties in 1971? I was working in a machine shop in 1980 when we first saw them. I could be wrong. Just asking.

If there really are 50% of Americans who are going to vote for this traior shame on them but I don't think any of them have any shame left after sticking out this campaign season.
For a good historical basis of military jargon... Try Kipling's poetry and military related prose. (Not 'Puck of Pook's Hill' or the 'Just So Stories')
Or any author's prose related to the military from 1740-1910.
I don't have a degree in English, but I once had a PhD working for me. ;>)

I wasn't around until 1983, so I don't know what they had back then......was waiting to see if anybody else could confirm they had plastic handcuffs back then since one poster was questioning that. I bet they did have those though.
