Lowell, Mass, paper Kerry's hometown also endorsed W yesterday, but don't hold your breath waiting for coverage. We know this is hugh and series, but the MSM will ignore it all.

Boston Herald is a conservative paper. The Boston Globe is the liberal one.

The Herald, not the Globe. The Globe would be news.

I'll bet the Boston Herald runs a story about the Boston Herald's Bush endorsement.

It's not news when a dog bites a man, but when a man bites a dog...

The Globe has already endorsed Kerry, BTW.

More from the article:

"Certainly, both John Kerry [related, bio] and George Bush love this country. Both are men of good will, deep faith and vast intellect. But only one would never sacrifice principle for political advantage. One of these men says he craves the respect of the world. The other by his words and deeds commands it.

Kerry's shifting positions on the Iraq war are troubling. But it's his 20-year record of voting to weaken this nation - voting against the first Gulf War, gutting intelligence and defense programs, and maintaining a long-held belief, even after Sept. 11, that terrorism is a law-enforcement matter that renders him unfit to serve as commander in chief.

John Kerry, who has served this state well in the U.S. Senate is in his bid for the presidency simply the wrong man, in the wrong place, at the wrong time."

You are correct: this should be on Drudge; it would have been if this had been the Boston Globe, but they are owned by the NY Times. But still, its nice to see some in beantown 'get it'.

The globe endorsing Bush. HA HA HA.

I could see them doing that only to be "Ironic".

That's something hipsters and yuppies love with their reporting, irony.

Naw. Having leftwing whores like the Globe and NY Times support you is like getting an endorsement from Al Gore

This isn't a suprise here in MA - everybody always knew the Herald supported Bush. The Herald has always been a right-leaning paper, a counter to the radical leftist Boston Globe.

Of course, much of the country probably doesn't even realize that Boston has a conservative newspaper.

I wouldn't exactly call the Herald a conservative paper, yes they have Howie Sarr and Cosmo Masero (sp?) but it pretty much stops there.

The Herald is definitely a better paper in the raw journalistic sense. They know how to bust balls.

The Globe will endorse Kerry only because Karl Marx wasn't available.

Boston Herald and the Boston Globe remind me of the NY Daily Post and the NY Daily News! You know who they are going to endorse just by reading them.
