Inspired by her second grade teacher, she earned a bachelor of science degree in education from Southern Methodist University in 1968. She then taught in public schools in Dallas and Houston. In 1973 she earned a master of library science degree from the University of Texas at Austin and worked as a public school librarian in Austin [until 1977].

Everything from "It's child abuse not to homeschool your kids, and all teachers are socialist idiots," to, "Teachers are touched by the grace of God with a special divine supernatural ability to handle large numbers of rugrats."

Ms Kerry, a woman who speaks six languages and is a woman of the world...shows by that tacky remark that she is astonished that a mere school teacher can show more class and intelligence that herself.
The NEA will gulp real hard, put their fingers in their ears, and sing "la, la, la" all the way to the polls to vote for Kerry.
Including my rabidly liberal sister-in-law. Hey, maybe I should email this to her.
