I know you are qualified to teach. I have the same temperment problem---it is short! ; ) Honestly, I have the discipline to do it, I just would rather not. Additionally, we have the same dilemma you have; we are out in the country and there are no other children around. The boys get to be away from us and with their friends and their beloved teachers.
My kids, as did my brother and I, learn better from others. For instance, swimming, I had hubby teach them since he won't take any crap from them and I give up when they get teary.
Re: Homeschool junkies:I figured you were feeling feisty today! ; )
The out in the country thing can be a bit daunting.
Jax started whining back in June about one of her friends moving and going to a different school, after school started she was complaining that her friend didn't move, but was in a different class. On Saturday I met her friend, and the friend's parents........talk about nearly instantaneous friendship!!!!!!!! what's really funny is the two of them can pass for sisters..........as was proven when the other girl's aunt tried shooing jax over to "her" grandmother!!!!!! I didn't understand the mixup until a little later when I finally met the child.............same long blond hair and both were wearing pink shirts and jeans. It was hysterical!
I will always defend the homeschoolers, but I will not tolerate criticism from them for not doing so myself.
