Kerry's ONE consistent position over the years:
Kerry, 1971: "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations."
Kerry, 1994: ""If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that. If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no."
Kerry, 2004:"But if and when you do it, Jim, you have to do it in a way that passes the test, that passes the global test."
""If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that.
American's dying to enforce a UN Security Council Resolution....is OK.
If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no."
But if god forbid one of our allies ....say Poland is attacked by the Russians......and we have to step in to save the Poles.....he is against that.
So in Kerry's world.....there would be no allies...he wouldn't defend them...
Bye-Bye South Korea.
