Wildlife agents chased the bear away, but it returned the next day, said Broxson. They set a trap using as bait some doughnuts, honey and two cans of Rainier Beer. It worked, and the bear was captured for relocation.

I'm going to name my next batch of homebrew "Bear Trap Ale". LOL!

"12 bears in one night"

That really is not very much beer. I have had more lots of times and never got sick or very drunk. Drinking a quart of rum or tequila over the course of an evening on the other hand always nearly killed me and gave me the worst hangovers the next morning.

It is all in what one gets used to.

LOL, a few people have told me that my drinking accomplishment was somewhat, amateurish, but to further expand on the point, I am NOT a frequent drinker at all, and I assume the Bear isn't either. 12 just about killed me, 36 and the bear walks away a few hours later? Musta been a big-@ss bear!

Of course he isn't an alcoholic - alcoholics go to meetings. Festus is just a drunk ;)

Hi Xenalyte,

Let Festus know he's always welcome to stop by and have a few drinks (or cases). How does he avoid the hangovers?

TM ping to a funny thread.....
