If there were lurkers on here who were considering the possibility of conversion to the Catholic Church, you would not exactly be someone whom they would wish to emulate - much less be in the same boat with.

If there are lurkers thinking about coming into the Church, they're not going to follow a poster who makes up words, then insists he's read that word used "by many authors." This is especially true, since that poster cannot post one single link to any of those authors, or any dictionary that defines "forment."

A question: exactly whom do you think you are? Perhaps a better question might be: who is paying for you to to be here and cause disruption and spew dissent against Church teachings?

Four years ago, before you ever darkened the door of Free Republic, we had a slew of posters who accused a few of us pro-Bush posters of being plants, paid by the GOP to take out Pat Buchanan.

I'm still here. I don't "spew" dissent against Church teachings. I disagree with mandatory celibacy, but, as you know, that is not a teaching; it is a discipline.

You, for some reason, fancy yourself a father-confessor to the trad sycophants who trail you like puppies. You have some good things to say, but it is always couched in an attack against the Church, against John Paul II's practice, against Vatican II.
