Of all the Kerry-Edwards campaign's many recent deceitful ads, few are as blatantly false as the one that hit the airwaves yesterday. It features Kristin Breitweiser of New Jersey whose husband died in the World Trade Center and who has been carrying on ever since as if 9/11 is her personal property.
"During the [9/11] Commission hearings we learned the truth we are no safer today," says Breitweiser.
In fact, America learned just the opposite in those hearings: The panel's unanimous final report says that "we are safer today," though we are not yet fully safe.
Which is precisely what President Bush has been saying all along.
[snip]
"I'm John Kerry and I approve this message," says the Democratic presidential candidate in the ad.
No doubt. Like so much of what he and his campaign are saying in these closing days of the race, the ad is a lie. And Breitweiser, sorry to say, is complicit in the misrepresentation.
Shame on John Kerry, sure.
But shame on Kristin Breitweiser, too.
I think it's pretty obvious that (Kristin) Breitweiser (co-chair of Sept. 11 advocates) is a liberal who would support (Democratic presidential nominee John) Kerry regardless. For her to completely ignore the monumental failures and inaction of 8 years by (former President Bill) Clinton and his administration vs. 6 months of (President) Bushs administration speaks to her obvious bias. I'm glad she isn't representing me in a court of law, since her knowledge doesn't seem to translate outside of her own political agenda. (9/11 Widows Reportedly Plan to Endorse Kerry, September 14)

I see Ms. Breitweiser still has to do some remedial reading.
I know she's a pain in the *ss, and is a tool of the Dems., but she's not bad looking.
I agree... I couldn't figure out what was going on with her horrible, streaky, frizzy hair. I was surprised, because for a lot of people, I think that's what they will remember from the commercial. It was very distracting, startling in fact... for about 2/3 of the piece, I was wondering what the heck was going on with her hair. Was she trying to portray an unglamourous, "I'm a mom not a model" look? If so, she was too successful, as she looked more like some kind of cartoon character... and that idea is insulting to moms who brush their hair. Or was it supposed to look like she was running from Ground Zero on 9/11 and stopped just to film the commercial? I can't believe anyone would let her on camera looking like that. Maybe she was trying to show she's "her own person" and not letting the Kerry campaign put words in her mouth, like the "I voted for Bush" line in the ad. Kind of "I won't let them doll me up for a commercial, I'm going to just be my ungroomed self." If so, what irony: she shows her independence by what is on the outside of her head, rather than the thoughts inside it, which are all liberal spin and Democratic talking points.
There is more to a woman than just looks. If she is a NUTTY *ITCH you'll never notice what she looks like if you have to live with her.
TRUE!
Film at 11:00 - Ms. Breitweiser filmed pissing on her husband's grave.
LOL!
Kristen Breitweiser ...
in Washington to endorse Sen. John Kerry in the 2004 presidential race...
... bitter critics of the president. They accused him of attempting to politicize Sept. 11
... that takes an awful lot of audacity..."

That link leads to a load of hysterical bollocks -- "Soros breathes air, as do some Rothschilds and ALL of the world's major drug dealers!!!" -- Hooey! There are many reasons to distrust Soros, but stringing a bunch of factoids into loony conspiracy theories and posting them here just shoots down your own credibility.
