Mark Hyman Interview,Sinclair always intended to only use "some" of "Stolen Honor"
Foxnews Special Report ^ | 10/13/04 | Brit Hume

HUME: Understood, though. But the documentary, which is called "Stolen Valor," which has been out there for some time, is composed — "Stolen Honor," I'm sorry, is composed of the comments of former Vietnam POWs that are quite critical of John Kerry. That is sort of the core of it. I take it from what you're telling me that you're planning on using at least part of that documentary as the basis for your program, correct?

HYMAN (Sinclair): Yes, there's a plan to use some of it. We have no idea how much. If, for example, Senator Kerry decides to join us for an hour, then we may only use one or two brief clips. And use the bulk of what he has to tell us as part of that program.

This is common sense, the time allotted for the special was 45 minutes and since the documentary is obviously longer than that, then of course they weren't going to show the whole thing.

Yes. With how many people who are screaming "they are caving" because the media spins it that way. I had to post this to remind everyone of the original intentions.

Yeah, I wasn't dogging you for posting that, it needs to be posted repeatedly, I was just reinforcing your post, sorry if it sounded rude. Let them scream victory, then they will shutup about it and it will be shown and have its desired effect. This isn't about winning the "sinclair" battle, its about educating all voters out there about the traitor running against Bush. Let them win all they want, as long as the show still goes on, then we know who really won.

Thanks. I didn't think you were rude. It's been a long day. I thank you for the reinforcement.

Easy access now for the Hyman quote. :)

It is fun to watch the MSM spin something Sinclair has said the whole time as something new.

Actually, Stolen Honor is 42 minutes long, according to their website. Just an FYI. :)

At the last minute, Sinclair Broadcasting has reshuffled the broadcast schedule for their program on "Stolen Honor" and now call it "A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media". The new schedule and content of the program is described in the Sinclair press release shown in the post below:

Yeah actually I just went and saw that, :-(, but they did say from the beginning that it wasn't just going to be a showing, but a session where our true war heroes could berate the traitor that helped the Viet Cong on every beating they got.
