I'm with Peggy. There is ABSOLUTELY no excuse to be going through this, again... we had majority in congress and the laws should have been changed by 2002.
Instead, Congress passed laws which only make things worse, like the provisional ballot thing and the push for electronic ballots. I don't know what all the new laws involve, and I'm afraid that there's more nasty surprises in store for us because the Republicans just do not get it.
It could have happened in the house. The Senate was too close, and some of the RINOs would have walked. Collins, Snowe, Chaffee, and McCain can not be trusted to do what is right.
