There's no reason to add rudeness to error. Why would you state that I was ignoring a provision which I just quoted to you?
If I am not mistaken, this was covered most recently in Bush v. Gore. "Manner" means "manner." It does not mean date. The states could not set different election dates.
The Constitution certainly does state that there shall only be one date, and it shall be that as set by Congress. The date set is not a deadline -- IT IS THE DATE, THE ONE AND ONLY DATE.
If you take any disagreement with your position as rudeness, remind me to never disagree with you again. Heaven forbid, I don't want to be rude.
If I may so bold, can I please ask you where all the lawsuits promoting your position might be? Why, pretty please, isn't anyone joining your cause?
