ROFL!

But y'all gotta know...I was truely a MAW freak back then. Couldn't get enough of them. I remember one summer at the beach...it was like they wrote the album for that trip. *sigh* I think it had to do with the fact that Colin Hay was Scottish...and the Scottish voices are always what gets me.

Was also mad for Big Country. Sadly, Stuart Adamson committed suicide a few years ago. I was really really sad.

Credit to my mom : she was the one that found the little obit blurb about finding his body in a hotel room in a suite in Hawaii. She cut it out and saved it for me because she remembered I liked him and Big Country.

He had such a voice...

That was sad.
Seems out teen idols didn't last very long.
Unlike the walking dead like Rolling Stones, who stopped making good music in 1977.
I was watching the one-hit wonder special, and I turned if off because of all the folks who died - the singer from The Waitresses died of cancer, Jermaine Stewart died of Aids, the guy from Frankie Goes to Hollywood died of Aids...then we have Michael Hutchence and Stuart.
Such a shame.
