Let me see, Bush is doing better than 4 years ago with women, double last time among blacks, better with Hispanics, better with Jews....yet this is a close race?
Something does not add up?

In a hypothetical $100 bet on the outcome of the presidential election, a 48-percent plurality of voters would put their money on Bush to win and 31 percent on Kerry. How about odds?

Well said. That is all that matters. Get out and vote
To: Publius
But with all the "Bush on Drugs" stuff, you'd figure he'd be winning the crackhead vote too!

It doesn't.
I don't think this a close race anymore, and it will get more lopsided going towards november 2nd. The press will keep playing it up as a horserace in order to keep this a story and to give hope to the dems.

by David Horowitz Hardcover - (September 2004) - $27.95
In this tour de force on the most important issue of our time, David Horowitz, confronts the paradox of how so many Americans, including the leadership of the Democratic Party, could turn against the War on Terror. He finds an answer in a political Left that shares a view of America as the Great Satan with Americas radical Islamic enemies. In a remarkable exploration of the Mind of the Left, Horowitz traces the evolution of American radicalism from its Communist past to its anti-war present. He then shows how this Left was able to turn the Democratic Party presidential campaign around and reshape its views on the War on Terror.

"One odd factor is that much of the lead is concentrated in the so-called 'red states,' which were pretty much conceded to Bush at the beginning. Thus his national lead does not reflect a big lead in the battleground states that will decide the election. We may well be facing a situation, as we did in 2000, where the popular vote and the electoral vote produce different results."
To: joltinjoe
I don't understand it, either, although I am glad Bush is looking better in the national polls. Pray tell, why does the Ohio Poll released today have Kerry ahead in Ohio by 48-46? Bush MUST carry Ohio and Florida; there is virtually no other way to put together the electoral majority.

We have so much voter fraud here in Wisconsin. Everyone has to not only vote but volunteer if we are going to win this thing. Two weeks of work or four years of Kerry....not a tough choice at all.
