LOL! But remember that we poor unwashed that get our news from FNC are not very smart (and many of us have no teeth) :)

Then I ask, why is this election so close? It is a no brainer for those who have a brain!

this frustrates and confuses me to no end. Bush has consistently held a sizable margin with this question yet still the election is close. What kind of idiot says "yeah bush will keep us safer but I am voting for the other guy." Does this seem convoluted to anyone else? To me it seems 180 degrees out of phase. If some one can explain this too me I would appreciate the enlightenment.

My personal opinion is that the undecideds will break for the candidate doing best in the internals. I the majority of undecideds think Bush is better on terrorism then that is they way they will go IMHO.

I don't know if the word has gotten through to the sing states. Those state polls are alarming. For the first time I'm really worried. (Don't mean to bring anyone down or feed the trolls, but...I dunno, I'm nervous...)

Its so close because a large portion of this country thinks "I dont live in New York (or L.A. or Chicago)... I'm safe"

This obviously indicates that Bush got his message out in the debates. It may not have sounded pretty to the debate coaches around the Country, but it was effective. Americans are realizing that Kerry cannot be trusted to go after terrorists. If he is elected people understand that they may end up fighting the war on terror at home instead of abroad.
That said - how can any sane American put their family at risk like that. That reminds me of the women that call into Dr. Laura and complain that their daughters were sexually abused by their live-in boyfriends. They knew the men were bad - but they just couldn't bring themselves to do anything about it until it was too late.
