Country music star Chely Wright just returned from a trip to Iraq to entertain our troops. A newly penned song by Wright received standing ovations and urgings to record this song so everyone could hear it. Bumper Of My SUV relates a true incident where a passing motorist showed disagreement with the Marine bumpersticker Wright placed on her bumper by an obscene gesture.
Since returning home, Wright has recorded the song and has earmarked portions of the proceeds to be used funding Stars for Stripes (www.judysealeinternational.com).
Wright's September trip was sponsored by Stars for Stripes, as well as her upcoming return the first part of November. This organization brings entertainment to troops not usually visited by USO.
Ms. Wright was interviewed by Linda Vester on Fox's Dayside last Friday. She described a different Iraq than is covered by the nightly news. Wright cited a re-built Iraqi school as an example of the good our troops are doing. She was taken to the school by a 7 vehicle caravan to visit one of the refurbished schools. As she handed out school supplies and toys to the children, she experienced some unusual behavior by the girls, age 4-15. They had never seen a free woman, one with whom men treated with respect by men, and one who walked parallel with men. The girls tried to look under her flackjacket to see if she truly was a woman.
BTW, her brother is a Marine and served in Iraq.

The media doesn't like anything that goes contrary to their world view.
They hate and seek to villify or destroy people who dare think for themselves.

Link above shows some of the wonderfully tolerant things the Dems would like to do should they win the election.
Ah, someone follows the rules!
There you go!

Say what? You're friends with Chely? That's true about her brother being a Marine who served in Iraq? I've read that she was part of a military family. Sounds like a great woman.
Thank you God for people like Ms. Wright!
I read on a fan site that this young lady will be on Scarborough Country tonight. (Tuesday)
