Saw the JUDGE on FOX. He sez that folks working for the Dem or Repub party do NOT have to take registration forms that aren't for their party.

Worse yet, they can take the form and NOT turn it in. That seemed odd to me. To disenfranchise voters, repubs could go to heavily Dem areas, register a mess of Dem voters and not turn in the forms. All legal.

The problem arises if they destroy the form. That is against the law.

Strange indeed.

re post 57, that DOES sound strange, indeed. are you sure you relayed correctly what he said? also, was he referring to any particular state?

i will double check with the Secretary of State of California. I know that you can give the form back to someone and tell them they can send it in (its self addressed, no postage necessary, etc.), but the distinction between "destroying", and "not turning in" a voter regstration card seems weird.
