At our local mall on Sunday, the people registering Republicans were protested by some Kerry supporters - with signs and everything. This was in Ventura, CA. The security guards were called and escorted out - after yelling this was a democracy. Only in a mall, it's private property so NOT a democracy. At the Republican table I saw a very handsome black family, Hispanics, and an asian woman all registering. A girl and her husband came up. When they tried to pay for the Bush sticker they were told to put their money away when the registrar person found out they were military. I did not help with the registration - I was only standing there for moral support after having witnessed the tail end of the protest. When I left I made a point to say hi to the democrat registerer person because why be rude? He only had pins and stickers - no offensive or lying signage. So in my short time of observing the Republican registration, I saw people of several different ethnic groups register.
