I am suprised that flash has not thrown his name in the hat. That makes no sense to be the lone outsider especially from a financial side. He must really hate the President. Even Jr. says he is for Bush and I have a feeling he is wishing to head to hollyweird sooner or later. He also took his pit crew to see moores false documentary. That action makes me think of a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I really like Brendon Gaughn. He is a good young man. He is very polite and he even played point guard for Georgetown. I dont know for sure but I bet he is the most educated driver. I am glad to see his name mentioned
Rick Hendrick gives heavily to Democrats. Not sure what Jeff Gordon's problem is.
Does anyone have a Nascar ping list?
Wouldn't it be great to see a big 'ol "W" on the hood of a car right before the election day..."Git out and vote for W!"
Always thought it would be a good idea. Maybe some NASCAR guys read FR.
Yes. I believe Normsrevenge is the listmaster. He pinged the nascar list earlier on this thread.
but Bush is noted for being for gay rights, so why would he :D just kidding
I am working on a partial NASCAR Ping List.
Earnhardt Jr. loses appeal on 25-point penalty
October 18, 2004
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. lost his appeal of a 25-point penalty and $10,000 fine for using a vulgarity during a postrace TV interview.
Instead of leading the Nextel Cup standings Monday by a point with five races to go, Earnhardt trails Kurt Busch by 24 points.
``NASCAR had issued repeated warnings to contestants regarding the use of inappropriate language during live event broadcasts,'' the National Stock Car Racing Commission said Monday in a statement. ``The infraction occurred on-air at the racetrack during the live broadcast of a NASCAR event, not in a casual private conversation or off-site activity.''
NASCAR punished Earnhardt on Oct. 5, two days after he cursed during a live television interview with NBC after winning a race in Talladega.
In its denial of the appeal, a three-person panel called Earnhardt an important ambassador of the sport and a role model.

Hmmmmm. Did Jr step up and fight for the other drivers who were fined and lost points? Or is he only upset now that they are enforcing the rules against him?
NOT TRUE! Martin was told that He would be giving the 'toon the tour at the Daytona 500. He in no way was happy about it.
the reason the job was pawned off on Martin was that He was from Batesville, Ark.
See above
Got it.
Well, none of the other drivers are standing for Junior either. And what about Dale Jarrett when he cussed not so long ago? He didn't lose any points.
Fines I can agree with. But not losing points.
Post 27 was a Nascar Ping. :-)
Is that how that came down?
My apology to Mark and his fans..
Look Out!!! I'm gonna assess myself a 25 mph run down the pit road backwards penalty. :-D
Please tell me you won't do this with a beer in each hand like you did last time...
Tony Stewart stood up for Junior. The two other drivers fined and assessed a point penalty for doing what Junior did were interviewed about it and said NASCAR was being fair and consistent for a change.
The "big red trailer struck" (as oppossed to the piss yellow one they use now)
Look Out!!! I'm gonna assess myself a 25 mph run down the pit road backwards penalty. :-D
Only if You do it blindfolded, upsidedown and don't spill an open beer;)
OOpps!
