"I never expected Bush to win NH. Kerry can have New England."

He most certainly cannot. Over my dead body he will take this state!! It would be illogical. We have the second lowest tax burden (no income or sales tax and a surplus), a Republican governor and legislature, and were chosen by the Free State Project as a platform for a libertarian crusade because of the atmosphere of self-reliance that exists here.

Granted, I do not live in the southern part of the state so I may not interact with the Boston professionals that commute and enjoy government provided conveniences, but it seems strange. I think New Hampshire is becoming overrun with the new liberal yuppies and the greenies. Personally, I came here to escape that crap.

When my husband traveled for a hotel chain in the early and mid 80's, he made it a point to ask Massachusetts residents he met in airplanes, in hotels, etc in the states he visited if they voted for Kennedy. Not a single one, and he did this for years, ever admitted to him to have voted for Kennedy and they said to him that they didn't know anyone that voted for him or at least would admit to it, that they didn't know how he ever got elected.
