#125 for non-resident hunting license + $15 Ohio wetlands stamp = $140. Kerry also needs the federal migratory bird stamp (Duck Stamp) which is another $15 but which is NOT available at the grocery store where he bought the hunting license (a fact that is noted at the Ohio DNR site.) The duck stamp is available at the post office which will provide him with another photo op.

That's because he's got it pulled all the way back. There would be no room inside the trigger guard behind the trigger for an adult sized index finger.
Also, and I am not a gun expert that can even tell you what model he's brandishing there, shotgun trigger guards tend to go nearly horizontal at the rear, blending into the wrist of the stock. That's so your middle finger's knuckle can't get right behind the trigger guard and get brusied by recoil.
The way his grip is stretched and angled, he's definitely pulling with his index finger, not supporting the backside of the trigger guard with the knuckle of his index finger. If his index finger were truly behind the trigger guard, his grip would resemble an ordinary fist.
Ever see his shooting pictures, by the way? John Kerry never wears shooting glasses. It wouldn't make for such a good photo. For safety's sake, he looks away from the target and shuts his eyes tight.

You've convinced me. John Kerry is a hunter and a regular gun nut who's going to make sure and appoint judges that respect the Second Amendment. He's probably got a strong pro-gun Senate record. I'll take your word for it. I guess I've got to go with the real pro-gun pro-hunting candidate and vote for John Kerry. That was easy.

What an image. John Kerry going next to the post office and asking "reckon I can get me one of them federal type migratory bird stamps here? I'm going to hunt. I'm going to take my shotgun out there like so many middle class Americans, out in the great wetlands of Ohio, like I've been doing since I was 12, 13 years old. I'm coming back here next week to hunt and to tell the people of Ohio that 'Help is on the Way'". No posing with a gun in the post office. I wonder if he knows that.

When I paste it into Word and view it at 200%, I can clearly see the curve of the trigger guard behind his index finger. I. e., his finger is inside the trigger guard, curled around the trigger.

The RED can be found by right clicking the photo and copying the properties. Height is optional but can be used to resize the photo (see the width/height when checking for the properties). Actually, the format is Height=yyy Width=xxx but putting in the height resizes and adjusts the width automatically.
Don't forget to take out the first space I put in just so it will show here.
