Sounds like he got the phone call. Kerry isn't coming on his show.

Folks, there is an organized campaign to dispirit us, to taunt us into saying things that can be quoted out of context, to harass and provoke us in the last few days before the election.

The left works from a playbook (Sol Alenski wrote the modern version Rules for Radicals). One of the standard items for centuries is the Agent Provacateur. The definition for that is:

A person employed to associate with suspected individuals or groups with the purpose of inciting them to commit acts that will make them liable to punishment

Don't get sucked in. Don't play their game.

Check the user names for clues, check the sign up date. Not all newbies are plants, but almost all of the plants are newbies.

It isn't paranoia if they really are out to get you.

Its a scandal that O'Reilly was alone the last time he had sex.

Ding! ..How this shallow puddle ever became a " sought after syndicated columnist", I'll never know.

"Both President Bush and John Kerry have failed to define the seriousness of the situation to Americans, many of whom are still in an anti-war fog induced by Howard Dean and other cut-and-run types."

An F for your report card, Bill. I'm editing your screed, first of all to tell the truth.

"Both President Bush and John Kerry have has failed to define the seriousness of the situation to Americans, many of whom are still in an anti-war fog induced by Howard Dean and other cut-and-run types like Kerry himself."

Sorry, perhaps I should have emphasized "he said" (in other words, coming directly from his mouth). I have watched him for several years (OK, OK I sinned!), but I have always heard him say that he will not tell anyone his political preference except that he is an Independent. Cerainly, some of the views he has espoused do not strike me as conservative IMHO.

Well, I don't know where O'Reilly has been during this election cycle. I think President Bush has been more than clear about this enemy we face.

I guess Bill has been too preoccupied with other matters and he just missed this particular subject during the debates, the political speeches and his own network's reporting.

Welcome to the both of you. There's a lot of tension around here with the importance of this election and the 'Rat tactics out there and here. Hence, don't take it personal.

As to O'Reilly, I'm of the his ego has run amuck crowd, to the point of intellectual dishonesty. I sure have lost respect for him.

Welcome aboard to both of you. This is a special place. The tensions are high here these days with the 'rat tactics, dishonest press (including O'Reilly) and the importance of this election. Don't take it personal....

I think you owe me an apology for calling me a plant. How would you like it if i called you a Liberal plant. I havent been here long but I really love this board. I finally found a place to chat it up with fellow conservatives. If you read my post you will see the way I think and the way i feel about political issues. There are 2 things I am passionate about and thats my family and my political views and I dont bend on either one of them!

Trust me, I know what you mean by tension. I am losing sleep over this freakin' election. I am doing everything I can to help Dubya get elected. Hell, I love that man!!! He is something else. sKerry is just a scumbag.

I have been volunteering with the my local Republican Campaign HQ, writing letters, sending donations hither and thither and generally raising hell against the DemoKrats.

The above is just to give an idea of who I am.

Legitimate newbies are just as tense for Dubya as you oldies.

We love Dubya too!!!

Thanks for your efforts. I am producing work at 50% these days (s'okay, I'm self-employed), monitoring FR. Thanks again for your efforts, I and the missus are also trying to help as much as we can-I did send W about 5 times my normal political donation budget in light of this election and how truly bad the 'Rat party and kept Ketchup Boy really are. See ya around--back to work....

"Oops, double post!!!"

The FR server has a cache to help faster loading when a lot of posters and lurkers are online at the same time.

That's why you will sometimes get double posts. When you post and the page is reloaded from the cache, your post won't show up right away. Thus, some people post again thinking that their comments weren't posted.

To prevent this, simply refresh your browser window several times after posting. Your post should then show up.

If it doesn't (it means FR is experiencing a lot of traffic), leave that window open, and open a new window on a different post. After you get through reading the new one, refresh the 1st one and your post will be there.

No, I didn't call you a plant. I reminded people that the tactic is all to clearly being carried out against FR and several other online communities that have been effective. We will know you by your deeds, not your claims of conservative "purity" or "passion."

Repeat, I did not call you a plant. I reminded people that they should be cautious in what they say in response to any post, in case the poster was trying to draw us into posting things that could be used against us. That is particularly true for a newbie poster like you, with a "lit match in the ammo bunker" alias like "Jesse Helms Jr." Why not call yourself "George Wallace the 3rd" or "young Adolf?" If you were a liberal plant, or agent provacateur, as I actually stated the issue, any of those 3 aliases would appeal equally to a sick sense of humor, as liberals view them all as equally evil. It's the kind of alias Michael Moore or Paul Begala might think was clever.

Now, if I had called you a plant I still wouldn't apologize. I am entitled to my opinion, just as you are. I am particularly entitled to warn other Freepers that they should be careful in what they post, just in case they are being suckered.

Bleeting like you have just posted does absolutely nothing to dispel any suspicions that anyone might harbor. In fact it smacks more of "thou dost protest too much." High dugeon and casting aspersions are futile and infantile tactics of someone who has no logic or fact to stand on. Take a deep breath and go with it. I haven't called you any names.... well, OK, I did call your tactics infantile. I take that back. Clueless. There, is that better? (ducking and running for cover... INCOMING) ;^>

My interest was not in casting aspersions on you but in reminding people to be careful, even if they absolutely know that you are genuine, they should not post things that can be lifted and used against us. Have you ever heard of Jerome R. Corsi? Look him up. Google is my friend.

I have not formed a judgement about you, yet. My judgement will have no more value than yours and would only be posted as another data point for others to use in forming their own opinions. I will watch what is said in posts by you to see how it pans out. I was a newbie not too long ago, too, and I haven't established any bona fides yet that anyone could "count on" on faith alone. I prefer to let the logic of my position, rather than the level of my outrage, speak for my credintials.

Again, though I have no standing on FR, I want to encourage to continue posting. If you are genuine then just think about the possible impact a given post might have if lifted by "the bad guys." If you're not genuine, you'll discover what a ZOT feels like soon enough. The BS detectors are incredibly well tuned hearabouts.

Then check out my tag line, and maybe you could lighten up a bit. If you take offense at the lightweight comments I made, you won't last long in any open community.

Man, am I a wordy SOB or what?
