President Bush Visits NJ and McGuire AFB
Free Republic ^ | 18 October 2004 | Self

President Bush stopped through the surprisingly “in play” swing state of New Jersey today. He flew out of McGuire AFB enroute to his next campaign stop in Florida.

A crowd of at least 2,000 military members and their families turned out to give him an appropriate send off. Many parents took their children out of school to greet him.

President Bush was greeted with cheers and applause sufficient for a rock star. President Bush saw the crowd as soon as he exited Marine One and made a bee line to the throng of spectators. He was humble and good natured during his visit to the barrier where the spectators stood. President Bush signed everything handed to him, shook hands, posed for photographs, and spoke briefly to individuals in the line.

In short, he was awesome.

The E-V-I-L genius Carl Rove! Isn’t he scary boys and girls!

Copy of today’s New York Post that I showed to President Bush as he greeted me (Bush up by 8 points in Gallup Poll). He said nothing, but smiled and gave a wink!

My server may not be able to handle the memory hits on the photos, but I hope they stay up there long enough for some of you to see. Thanks.

You mean Rove wasn't in his secret Alaskan hideaway sending hurricanes to Florida, earthquakes to California and volcanic eruptions to Washington?

They sent Lautenberg out to attack Dubya. Altho he clearly had collagen injections and maybe botox too.....he just stuttered and stammered and said nothing much at all.

Just heard Corzine saying that Dubya went there so he could get the Philly market too.......LOL....you got that right!!!!

Will those military folks and their families vote as NJ residents or cast absentee ballots from their home states? I hope their votes count for NJ.

A two-fer. And the Democrats are reacting to the Bush offensive like a fish out of water flapping around helplessly.

Just watched a bit of CNN, which I can only stand for about 5 min., and heard some talking head saying that Bush was there to "get to Philadelphia". I thought, So? He's campaiging, dummy.

I love posts like these, even though I couldn't get the pics. They lift my spirits.

Bush's rallies look like World Series games.

Kerry's rallies look like Little League games.

The MSM never gives you GW Bush's rally numbers. They don't want you to know how Bush and Cheney are making Kerry and Edwards look bad because they have trouble getting their base out to cheer them. You can rest assured that the GW Bush welcome from New Jersy voters was both pro-active and overwhelmingly positive!!!

How about: "Bush rallies look like Yankees crowds. Kerry rallies look like Bosox crowds." Upbeat vs. down and out. Who's Your Daddy?

I am almost thinking Dubya just might win New Jersey. I can't think of any plausible scenario where Kerry would win if W won NJ. Because if he won in Jersey he'd almost certainly have at least one of OH, FL, or PA as well.
