The problem is that the American Church is in de facto schism, Rome tells them to act, the USCCB waters down Rome's clear commands and then coversup. It is NOT the Church, it is the flawed men running the Church that is the issue.

As much as I dislike what Kerry has done and said over the past thirty years,
I'm not going to "pile on" where it concerns his religion...
although I don't think Kerry,by his actions in Congress, is a practicing Catholic any more than the rest of the 'Rat so called Catholics in Congress.
