Bingo.
You have nailed it. 'Effin was too high profile in the anti war movement, NOT to have extensive KGB files.
Now all it needs is a journo to get over to Moscow and start digging.

Kerry has a *plan*...

Perhaps a Freeper out there has the expertise and time to do this immediately, Imean right now. Time is of the essence. The election is only two weeks away.
This group can and will supply the funds to do it.
We need to do it for all the guys like our own Aloha Ronnie, the true heroes of Vietnam...
~~Piiiing~~~
Since Kerry is refusing to show those documents, then the only way to get them seen is to smoke them out.
The evidence that shows he received less than an honorable discharge is compelling.
Those of us who've had military service know that the current information available adds up to a bigtime circumstantial case that he received less than an honorable discharge.
I was reviewing Kerry's DD214 on his website and I noticed something that indicated to me that these documents have definitely been altered and/or revised. We all recall the flap about his silver star and the request for an investigation by Judicial Watch. On the second page of his DD214, in box 24, all of his decorations are listed INCLUDING a Silver Star with a Combat "V"! There is no such thing as a Silver Star with a Combat "V" as the Navy does not add a Combat V to Silver Stars. Prior to 1974, a Combat V was added to the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal and Navy Achievement Medal only. http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Valor_device Now, if this is an award that does not even exist, then this cannot be an unaltered original copy of his DD214.
See http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/DD214.pdf, page 2, box 24.
Additionally, there is a DD215 posted on his site, which is a correction to his DD214, dated 03/12/2001. See http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/DD-215_Correction.pdf This form "corrects" his DD214 by deleting his Vietnam Service Medal and adds a Vietnam Service Medal with 4 bronze stars. I am not 100% sure of this but wouldn't 4 bronze stars on a service medal indicate 4 combat tours of duty? Kerry only had one or maybe two, if his first tour on the Gridley was considered combat.
It is likely that by 03/12/2001, Kerry had decided to run for the presidency in 2004. If this DD215 was filed to falsely inflate his decorations, it is a clear indication that he habitually and routinely alters his military record for political purposes. The point to my longwinded and somewhat redundant post is that if Kerry's habitually alteres these documents, it is very easy to assume that a less than honorable discharge could have been "revised" to an honorable discharge and nobody could prove otherwise without Kerry signing a form 180.

The name you seek is GAUK (sp?) - probably won't release (quickly) to foreigners - especially if it concerns the German's favorite candidate . . .
Interesting, that bit. I was in the Army so perhaps not the same rules but bronze "Campaign stars" were added to the Vietnam Service Medal based on declared "Campaigns" that one participated in; Tet counter offensive etc. I had four originally, earned over a period of just over twelve months, and later a fifth campaign was declared during the period I was there. I seriously doubt you could participate in four campaigns in four months. That, I would think, could easily be checked on line though (And then, Kerry was in the Navy)
Wouldn't the FBI have files on Skummy Skerry?
Anything that comes from official government sources will be viewed as "dirty tricks" in the campaign and could backfire. This issue is being ignored by the MSM and will never see the light of day....unfortuneately.
I think I just answered my own question...and added a few more. From wordiq.com:
"The Department of Defense established twenty nine military "named" campaigns during the Vietnam War. For those service members participating in one or more campaigns, a service star is worn on the Vietnam Service Medal...Some campaigns apply to all of the military services while others are specific to a particular branch of the U.S. Armed Forces."
There was only 1 named campaign (out of 29) for which service stars were awarded from 12/68-3/69, the period in which Kerry was in combat. This is listed as the Vietnam Counteroffensive, Phase VI (Army, Navy, USCG): Nov 2, 1968 to Feb 22, 1969. For comprhensive list see: http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Vietnam_Service_Medal
Clearly, Kerry was not eligible for four bronze service stars. The question, then, is why was his DD 214 amended to indicate 4 stars? And did the Navy actually award these in error or did Kerry simply amend them himself as he was preparing for his presidential run? This should be investigated just like the Silver Star with Combat "V". Is there anything that this man saya that is factual?
Also, it looks like there's some unusual stuff with respect to the 4 additional awards added to his record in this form. I am researching now and will post if there's anything there.
BUMP for future bookmark!
I thought so.
Consider that sKerry mentions his "war" service in virtually EVERY conversation, speech, or comment he has made. I believe he has a serious mental defect that makes him believe his own lies, and that, in his mind, he is a genuine Yankee Doodle Dandy!
I miss his show a lot. I haven't been able to get it online, as it is on at really odd hours.

Yes, you are right
They are apolitical, though; IWO have their own rules of access, which also seek to protect persons who had been followed by the Stasi by anonymous informants. Katarina Witt and former Chancellor Kohl have had their tussels with the agency.
