Maybe all the Vietnam vets can sue Kerry for libel since he labelled them all war criminals.
"Maybe all the Vietnam vets can sue Kerry for libel since he labelled them all war criminals."
Sound okay to us. 2.5 million Nam Vets suing Kerry in civil courts around the nation might be very embarrassing when his military records and history are opened up.
Make it a class action Ill join it.
Better yet -- how about some real Viet Nam Vets sue Campbell for the egregious things done to them by him and his ilk on their return to the US?
Wouldn't that be AWESOME!
Wonder if the potential dollars would woo John Edwards into representing them in a class action libel suit.
Really. I wish they would.
Anybody see O'Reilly tonight? Douglas Brinkley was on and got to make several charges, unchallenged by O'Reilly who had taken great umbrage when documented charges were made against Kerry.
Brinkley's comments smacked of Kerry's old "war criminal" charges. Doug admitted that he had omitted Steve Gardner from the original book, but added him in the paperback, as one who was on Kerry's boat (Brinkley had gone for years saying "all" the men on Kerry's boat supported Kerry). Brinkley then stated that he had recently "found out" (O'Reilly said nothing--no challenge or asking of how or where) that Gardner was the gunner on Kerry's boat and had a history of firing his gun indiscriminately up and down the riverbanks. Kerry had threatened him with a court martial, said young Douglas.
Anybody else hear this? I almost fell out of my chair. As it was I had other matters to attend to so haven't looked to see if anyone else posted this account of these outrageous charges made against Gardner tonight.
Oh--and Brinkley added darkly that there are "many questions" being raised (again, O'Reilly interrupted not at all and let Brinkley make these charges unchallenged) about the founder of the Swift Vets, Admiral Roy Hoffman. Brinkley even went so far as to say "if Kerry loses" the Hoffman story would still be told.
It completely reminded me of the old "war criminals" charges.
That would be the ticket! Especially if Nam Vets filed their suits in the same jurisdiction as Campbell's suit.
Delaware Ping!
