KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia's former prime minister has urged Muslims in America to vote for US Senator John Kerry in the Nov 2 presidential election, saying President George W. Bush has been 'the cause of the tragedies' across the Muslim world.

Mahathir: Jews rule world by proxy

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Malaysian leader Mahathir Mohammed said Thursday the world's 1.3 billion Muslims had less influence than the few million Jews who "rule this world by proxy."
"One-point-three billion people cannot be simply wiped out," Mahathir told the Organization of Islamic Conference summit being held in Putrajaya. "The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million. But today, the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them."
He said Muslims worldwide must work together.
"We are all Muslims. We are all oppressed," he said. "We are all being humiliated."
The comments, which came at the opening address of the OIC's 10th summit, were reported by the official Bernama news agency. The summit lasts two days.
The meeting is the first attended by Muslim leaders since the Sept 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington. Russian President Vladimir Putin was also present.
Mahatir also criticized the West for its policies toward the Muslim world.
"Our religion is denigrated. Our holy places desecrated," he said. "Our countries are occupied, our people starved and killed. None of our countries is truly independent. We are under pressure to conform to our oppressors' wishes about how we should behave, how we should govern our lands, how we should think even."
To solve this, he said, "Our countries must be stable and well-administered, must be economically and financially strong, industrially competent and technologically advanced."
He added: "We need guns and rockets, bombs and warplanes, tanks and warships..."
He cautioned, however, "We must not antagonize everyone. We must win their hearts and minds."

I married into a Jewish family and they all need to have their heads examined. My mother in-law is volunteering 5 days a week for Kerry. The aunts and uncles and cousins will vote for Kerry. It is sickening. I argue with them at family gatherings (despite being totally outnumbered!) to no effect. Their priorities are national health care and taxing the hell out of the rich because they think that will pay for it. They think Bush just wanted to start a war
in Iraq to get revenge on Saddam for trying to assasinate his father. I am afraid that they represent most of the Jewish vote in this country.

Apparently they are worried...after all this could have proven the "world leaders" joke true, yet they're running from it.
However, Mr Kerry's aides insisted the Democratic candidate 'rejects any association' with the Malaysian ex-premier, whom they called 'an avowed anti-Semite whose views are totally deplorable'.
Dr Mahathir retired last year mired in a controversy after telling a summit of Muslim leaders that 'Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them'.
Strange, Kerry's people don't reject the views of the street-socialist clogging up major American cities during the war that held signs about the Joooz that would make a Al Jazeera blush.
Putin stated that the terrorists would love to see Kerry win the White House. Why would anyone be surprised by the comments of this muslim extremist?
