I'm not making this up. I couldn't.

And Charles is a psychiatrist. You'd think he's "seen and heard it all" at the office, but sKerry has even stumped the doctor!!!

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he's paraplegic.

What was it that Kerry (or Edwards) said about paralysis? My son told me they said something that implied they could make the lame walk, or something to that effect.

"Kerry has a plan for everything except curing psoriasis"
Discrimination. Pure and simple. Those of us who have the heartbreak of psoriasis can never vote for a man who cannot give us a cure.
BTW, you have to log on to the newspaper to read the entire article. You can use tissit as the member name and password.

From the article:

This is John Edwards last week at a rally in Newton, Iowa: "If we do the work that we can do in this country, the work that we will do when John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk, get up out of that wheelchair and walk again."

Edwards said that "if we are elected, people like Christopher Reeves will get up from their wheelchairs and walk.." Yeah, sure. And I'm the Easter bunny.

- John Edwards, the day after Christopher Reeve died.

Thanks. The Dems have been blasting the Reps for using gay marriage as a "wedge" issue, but it is clear that's exactly what the Dems are doing with the stem cell issue. Every ad for every candidate mentions stem cells, even though stem cell research has not been particularly promising as a cure for anything. It's an effort to make Bush appear anti-scientific, a "flat earth" type. And now, on top of everything else, the Dems are claiming miraculous powers, in keeping with their arrogance.

Here's a quote from one of my heros among the Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton, that precisely describes the Democrats and Kerry:

It is a melancholy truth that the behavior of many among us might serve as the severest satire upon the human species. It has been a compound of inconsistency (Kerry's flip-flops), falsehood (see "Unfit for Command"), cowardice (Kerry again), selfishness and dissimulation (anything by M. Moore and the DNC).

No question that's what they're doing. It makes sense, though, since they aren't exactly going after the genious segment of the population, and they're very short on issues to exploit. So they just make it up.

With the death of Christopher Reeve, are you for or against embryonic stem cell research?

If you were to talk to John Kerry's daughter, Vanessa ... (who's a living heterosexual)... she would probably say she's glad her father wasn't able to fund her destruction for stem cell research when she was an embryo.

She would probably say this even if she knew her death would have helped her father's heroes Chris and Mike and Max.

He's a paraplegic. His legs don't work, but his arms (and brain) do.

Rush said last week Krauthammer was quadriplegic. I don't know if he is right. I would like to know, if anyone has the answer.
