According to the above linked thread North and South Carolina are the only two states that have that quirk you mentioned...... Don't know how accurate that is.
When a straight ticket is not a straight ticket......The more people know about this the better. I will occasionally vote for a Democrat for a local office, if I'm assured that it's a good choice or the Republican is a goofball, but, normally, straight Republican is a a better choice.
