Wow. I remember standing in line for a long, long time with my fellow 9th graders to board the Freedom Train. Can only remember 1 item in the Freedom Train to this day....Bob Lanier's size 22 basketball shoes.

Wasn't the Freedom Train made up of two separate trains, the engines were painted in red, white and blue and one was called "1776" and the other was "1976."
