I was in College in California working to get Carter elected. It was my first election and I've grown up since then and voted straight conservative since Reagan.

My grandmother was on both President Eisenhower’s staff and President Nixon’s staff. She and Nixon were fast friends. She was also the committee chairwoman of the National Republican Party. I grew up teething republican.
