Kerry picks and chooses. He invokes God's guidance on the little stuff, the easy stuff, the boilerplate. He turns his back on God on the big issues, abortion and, with a wink, gay marriage.
Goldberg says that Kerry seems to have it backwards. God doesn't take a position on the minimum wage or the Superfund, so politicians shouldn't feel the need to consult HIM. Beyond the naked pandering, Kerry's positions are morally and religiously empty. When it comes to tough issues, what Kerry wants is GRACE ON THE CHEAP.
Bush says God guides him in everything he does. Kerry says that too, but it hard to see how he's not lying.
Goldberg points out that Thomas Moore said" if honor were profitable, everybody would be honorable"

Kerry is what you call a Hypocrite.
I don't 'Kerry'.
:-)
Kerry's faith...
It is offensive to hear this guy claim he is a Catholic and his faith is important to him.
they were saying today as they showed him at a BLack CHurch standing with the choir... "Kerry was singing at church today, worshiping etc etc"....I watched him and he didnt know ONE WORD to the song....I LAUGHED MY behinie off...what a fool!
Hypocrites usually do....
He visits more black churches than he does Catholic. He is so insulting to black voters. He should be ashamed but...John (This is NOT a good man) Kerry has no shame. He proved that at the debate the other night when he spoke Mary Cheney's name.
We know Catholics and John (This is NOT a good man) is NOT a true Catholic!!!!!!!!!!!!
But Bill Clinton used to regularly sing in the choir of the ? Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.........they televised their services..........these demo creeps will do anything/say anything for a vote even when their eternal destiny is at stake. They are their own gods!
Did you SEE HIM?
I don't know who looked dumber.
Kerry... or the black congregations that allowed him to exploit them.
They're ALL hypocrites in my book.
So does Kerry's partner, John Edwards.
Everything the demos have done to discredit Pres. Bush and VP Cheney have backfired. Whose side is God on?
Yeah, he was making sure church and state are kept separated (another one of their situational arguments). Kerry is also accusing Bush of class warfare, but not the obvious one of us against people like him with 5 mansions. Nope, it JFK the man of the people against the evil rich Republicans. What nonsense.
God Knows what is in People's hearts.
No where near....
I wonder when the Alter Boy last went to a Cathloic mass...
